Karl Rove and Robert Gibbs

American political consultant and policy advisor Karl Rove meets with IU students Thursday, October 18, 2012 in the Memorial Student Union.
Rove was a Senior Advisor and Deputy Chief of Staff in the George W. Bush White House until his resignation in August of 2007.

Press Secretary under President Barrack Obama and was Senator Obama's Communications Director since 2004.

Karl Rove came to IU, along with Robert Gibbs, as part of a themester event sponsored by Union Board, The College of Arts and Sciences,
The School of Public and Environmental Affairs, The Kelley School of Business, and The School of Journalism.

Robert Gibbs and Karl Rove came to IU to take part in the themester series of events for the Fall 2012 semester.
The themester theme is Good Behavior, Bad Behavior: Molecules to Morality.

Robert Gibbs and Karl Rove took part in a Public Discussion on Political Behavior and the 2012 Election Thursday, October 18, 2012 in the IU Auditorium.

At times, the discussion between Robert Gibbs and Karl Rove, was lighthearted and even drew applause for its collegial nature.

At other times, the conversation between Mr. Rove and Mr. Gibbs became quite tense, with a number of exchanges leaving the crowd mumbling.
